We are currently recruiting a Marine Pricing Lead to join our established and experienced Chief Underwriting Office team here at RSA on a hybrid basis.
Your Role:
As the Pricing Lead, you will be responsible for delivering actuarial analyses in areas such as product pricing, risk modelling, corporate planning, reinsurance, establishment of claims reserves, and underwriting analysis.
You will lead, develop, and motivate a team of pricing experts to ensure the timely and accurate provision of analyses, pricing models, and actions to meet strategy and targets for a set of accounts or portfolios.
You will represent your team at relevant meetings, working with the wider CUO function to communicate findings and support their implementation.
To succeed in this role, you should have extensive knowledge of general insurance, along with actuarial or relevant pricing experience. Strong technology and numeracy skills are required (Excel, Emblem, Radar, VBA, R, etc.).
Experience in coaching and mentoring team members is essential. You should be capable of challenging standard thinking, prioritising tasks, and updating stakeholders as needed.
