Marine Engineer – Mechanical / Electrical
Cookham, Berkshire

Are you passionate about all things marine and mechanically minded with a hands-on approach? We're working with a well-established and respected marine services company based in Cookham who are now looking to expand their team with a skilled Marine Engineer.
Whether you’re from a marine background or have solid mechanical or electrical experience and are looking to make the move into the boating world – we want to hear from you!
The Role:
You’ll be carrying out mechanical and/or electrical repairs and maintenance on a wide range of leisure boats, engines, and associated marine systems – both on-site and off-site. Day-to-day tasks include fault diagnosis, reviewing schematics, ordering parts, and ensuring all works are carried out to a high standard of safety and quality.
Key Responsibilities:

• Mechanical and electrical fault-finding and repairs
• Routine servicing and maintenance of boats and marine engines
• Consulting schematics and technical manuals
• Ordering and fitting replacement parts
• Travelling to off-site locations when required (company vehicle provided)

What We’re Looking For:

• Previous mechanical or engineering experience (marine industry a bonus)
• Methodical and practical with strong problem-solving skills
• A team player with a can-do attitude
• Educated to GCSE level or equivalent
• Full UK driving licence – essential
