Our client is recruiting a Marine Insurance Claims assistant to assist the insurance and claims department in selling cargo insurance.

You will handle small to medium value cargo claims, and provide efficient administration assistance.

Another part of the role is to quote and arrange marine cargo insurance for customers.

In the role you will liaise with brokers, insurers, cargo surveyors, insurance recovery agencies and responsible carriers to handle and process marine cargo claims.

Responsibilities:

• Contract filing and administration
• Office insurance policies monthly administration work
• Handle disputes (Lost, Switch and Replace)
• Handle general average cases
• Assist in disputes relate to exercising cargo lien

Key Skills/Experience Needed:

• Attention to detail
• Strong interest in Logistics/Supply Chain
• Maritime Law background an advantage
• Bachelor of Law background an advantage
