Hextal Group in Aberdeen is seeking a Geotechnical Engineer to conduct ground investigations for offshore projects in the North Sea. The role involves designing borehole programmes, supervising CPT campaigns, and providing crucial geotechnical design parameters for various marine structures.
The ideal candidate will have a BEng or MSc in Geotechnical Engineering or related fields, with at least 5 years of experience in the marine sector. Competitive compensation and benefits include 28 days annual leave and relocation support.
You will conduct and interpret ground investigations for offshore and coastal projects across the North Sea and Atlantic seaboard. Based in Aberdeen, you will work closely with the marine division's jack‑up fleet, designing borehole programmes, supervising CPT campaigns, and providing geotechnical design parameters for gravity‑base foundations, quay walls, and dredging operations.
