Job description

The Artisan Recruitment Group is looking for a Fitter/Mechanical Engineer in the Marine Industry for a contractor in the Fareham area.

Working for a family-run business, the ideal candidate will be seeking a long-term career with the potential to transition to a permanent role.

Candidates must have:

  • Level 3 in Engineering (NVQ or equivalent)
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience
  • Driving license (or in the process of obtaining one)
  • Over the age of 21
  • Ability to pass SC clearance

  • Experience with refits
  • Propulsion work (e.g., removal and refit of shafts, couplings, propellers, and bearings)
