Demob Job Ltd is seeking a Marine Field Service Engineer to service, overhaul and repair marine turbochargers in the Southampton region and across the globe. The role combines hands-on engineering with field service at customer sites, requiring extended worldwide travel and occasional overnight stays.
The ideal candidate has hands-on turbocharger experience in ABB/Accelleron, MAN or MET, plus strong mechanical fault-finding skills and the ability to produce clear technical reports.
Are you a Royal Navy Marine Engineer preparing to leave the Service, or an experienced Marine Engineer looking for your next challenge?
Do you have hands-on experience servicing and repairing ABB/Accelleron, MAN or MET marine turbochargers?
I am currently recruiting on behalf of my client for a Marine Field Service Engineer to join a specialist engineering business supporting the global shipping industry. This is a technically demanding, hands‑on role where you’ll be responsible for servicing, overhauling and repairing marine exhaust gas turbochargers both in the UK and across the globe.
This opportunity will particularly suit engineers who thrive in a field service environment and enjoy worldwide travel. Due to the nature of the role, you should be comfortable spending extended periods away from home, working overtime when required and participating in an on‑call rota to support customers. Overtime is paid, and all travel and accommodation expenses are covered whilst working away.
