Job summary

HSB Technical Ltd is seeking a Marine Engineer to work from a Southern Hampshire workshop and on customer vessels, assembling and maintaining outboard and inboard engines. You will service, repair, and install propulsion systems, with duties spanning diagnostics and documentation.

The role requires a marine engineering qualification or OEM training and a full driving licence. Permanent position with £35,000–£40,000 salary plus overtime at time and a half.

Responsibilities

• Installation, service, maintenance and repair/overhaul of inboards and outboards.
• Installation and service, repair of engine and steering controls.
• Knowledge of exhaust systems, stern gear and vessel plumbing.
