Job summary

Matchtech is representing a world-leading luxury yacht manufacturer seeking a Marine Engineer in Poole, Dorset. You’ll install, assemble, and test critical yacht systems to exacting standards on high-value vessels.

Role involves engine and hydraulic system work, reading drawings, and quality inspections. Shifts include days and nights with overtime opportunities, and a comprehensive benefits package is provided.

Qualifications

• Engineering experience in manufacturing, marine, automotive, aerospace or similar environment.
• Ability to read and interpret scaled technical drawings (1:10).
• Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship.
• Capable of working independently and in a production team.

Responsibilities

• Engine installation and alignment.
• Engine shaft and gearbox alignment.
• Installation and testing of hydraulic systems.
• Reading and interpreting drawings and specifications.
• Carrying out testing and quality inspections.
