Job Title: Marine Engineer
Location: Norfolk
Salary: Up to 25.75 per hour

Contract Role: 3 months

About the Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced marine engineer to join a leading yacht manufacturer. The role involves preparing, building, and installing engineering systems on luxury yachts, ensuring all work aligns with current drawings, specifications, and industry guidelines.

Essential Skills

  • Ability to install engineering systems in yachts or recreational craft.
  • Strong problem-solving and fault-finding skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Safe operation of hand, power, and bench-mounted tools, including polishers and grinders.

Personal Attributes

  • Works well under pressure and meets tight deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail with a "right first time" approach.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently or as part of a team.

Additional Requirements

  • Must be comfortable working at heights, in confined spaces, and on uneven surfaces.
