A leading company is seeking a Marine Electrician to support installation services on board US Navy ships. Responsibilities include the installation, termination, and testing of fiber optic and copper cable assemblies. The Marine Electrician will be responsible for supporting kSARIA's Field Installation Services organization on board US Navy ships. The position will be responsible for the installation, termination and testing of fiber optic and copper cable assemblies necessary to support a variety of ship's services, including power, communication, telephone, and alarm systems. Good communications skills (written and verbal), the ability to work off customer drawings, and a keen attention to detail are a must for this position. Previous experience and certification with multi-pin copper connectors is required. Fiber optic installation, termination and testing is preferred but not required, we will train and certify in house. The individual will report to the Field Service Operations Manager and/or Project Lead and must be willing to work overtime, including weekends and travel for extended periods of time when necessary. Install, tag and band fiber optic and copper cables on various classes of surface and submarine Naval Vessels.
