Are you an experienced marine electrical engineer with a passion for ensuring vessels operate at their best? Join a leading operator in the offshore energy sector, providing vital support to a growing fleet across the UK and Europe.

The Role:
As a Fleet Electrical Engineer, you’ll ensure the safety, reliability, and performance of a modern fleet of vessels. From proactive maintenance to troubleshooting, you’ll play a pivotal role in keeping operations running smoothly. This role also offers opportunities for hands-on work at shipbuilders’ yards and vessel visits across Europe.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Maintain and repair marine electrical and electronic systems, including power , switchboards, and fire detection systems.

  • Perform fault-finding, insulation surveys, and condition checks across the fleet.

  • Plan and schedule maintenance and repairs, ensuring cost-effective solutions.

  • Build and maintain a comprehensive database of vessel-specific electrical information.

  • Travel across the UK and Europe for inspections, dockings, and emergency support.

About You:


  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Marine Electrical Engineering or similar.

  • 3-4 years’ experience as a ship electrician or in shore-based marine electrical engineering.

  • STCW qualifications and experience with OS-HSC CTV/craft vessels.

  • Flexibility to travel and provide on-call support as required.
