Position: Marine Electrical Engineer

Location: Ipswich / Felixstow / Great Yarmouth / Suffolk / Norfolk
Salary: £34,000 - £39,000 Plus overtime and benefits
We are looking for a Marine Electrical / Electronic Engineer / Field Service Engineer for a company that has over 50 years experience within the marine industry.
Responsibilities:
- Undertake service, maintenance and installation of marine automation, navigation and communication equipment.
- Supervise field service teams / sub-contractors / shipyard labour, maintaining morale and ensuring familiarity with company QA policies and Health and Safety regulations.
- Conduct site surveys and detailed work specifications.
- Ensure an accurate list of tools and materials is created in line with the workload.
- Maintain accuracy and professional standards of field service deliverables (problem solving and quality of work).
- Act as a mentor and trainer to aid the development of colleagues as required.
- Ensure all work is carried out to ISO 9001/2000 standards.
Qualifications:
- Background in marine electronics, especially bridge navigation, communication & PA systems.
- Preferably HND/HNC Engineering or equivalent experience.
- UK Passport Holder.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Must be able to travel in and around the Suffolk / Norfolk area.
