Reporting to the Marine Operations Manager and working to a shift pattern of 7 days on/7 days off, the successful applicant will be responsible for the offshore marine coordination of the logistics supply vessel fleet and ERRV movements, including co-ordination of any third-party vessels utilised to support customer logistics marine operations.
Key responsibilities are to:
•Provide Marine coordination assistance to Company Marine resources in field and in port.
•Produce and issue daily logistics plan
•Liaison with internal and external stakeholders both on and offshore to ascertain requirements and schedule vessels to suit. This shall include cargo requirements, vessel routing and cargo prioritisation and shall make the most efficient use of Vessels.
•Ensure verbal and written communication is always maintained between Company and the supplier representatives onshore and offshore.
•In conjunction with marine service providers, schedule, route and coordinate all contracted supply vessels.
•Liaise with service providers and offshore crew to expedite vessels and minimise on-hire standby time/costs.
•Undertake crew safety briefs onboard vessels.
•Organise vessel spot hires when required.
•Act as first point of contact for marine disruption notifications from offshore and minimise impact of disruptions, on an on-call basis.
•Receive marine logistics data from service providers (utilisation, spend, cargo, bulks, etc.), track meaningful information, and adjust services accordingly.
•Monitoring any deviations / losses / gains to be made if a vessel is requested to proceed at best speed considering weather, tides and availability of workforce on Installation
•Liaising with all parties regarding the availability of potential free deck space for backload
•Co-ordinating the routing of vessels to optimise the return of high cost rentals as efficiently as possible
•Co-ordinate all vessel operations in line with Clients Marine Operations Manual
•Ensure that all ERRV handovers are carried out in line with procedures laid down in the Clients processes and procedures.
•Assist the Clients emergency response teams as necessary during an emergency callout and participate as required in planned emergency exercises
•Assist in ensuring full compliance with the requirements of clients REWS procedure
•Assist in undertaking system checks on the REWS system, raising any non-conformances in the system and any system change requests to ensure system is fully operational
•Assist in maintaining the primary REWS watch for clients or third-party Installations and identified subsea infrastructure deemed at risk as detailed on the Protected points list
•Liaising with Installation Managers and Emergency Response and Rescue Vessels (ERRVs) when the REWS system performance is downgraded and where it is necessary for primacy to be handed over to offshore, or the onshore REWS Operator when handing back to onshore
•Assist in ensuring the clients ‘REWS Handover Procedure’ is strictly followed and recorded when required
•Assist in advising the ERRV, Installation Manager and onshore or offshore REWS Operator when primacy for vessel collision monitoring is to be moved and formally recording any transfer of primacy
•Assist in alerting Installation Managers or Area Authorities of any potential collision risk or potential incursions into the 500m zone of an Installation or subsea infrastructure
•Assist in providing, on request, information on errant vessels for the purposes of incident investigation or to support the Control Room, Emergency Response centre or Incident Management Team as required
•Providing whatever other information, support or data as may be necessary in the normal course of business to support other operations or requirements

Minimum Qualifications
•Marine Certificate of Competency in a lower-level position supported and/or extensive comparable marine control/logistics experience

•Previous experience in a similar role
