We are currently seeking an experienced Technical Insurance Technician to join our Technical Services Team, providing vital support to our specialist Marine and Aviation division. This is a pivotal role focused on delivering high-quality technical processing and documentation throughout the policy lifecycle, from pre-inception to post-placement.

Technical Insurance Technician – Marine/Aviation
Location: City of London

We are currently seeking an experienced Technical Insurance Technician to join our Technical Services Team, providing vital support to our specialist Marine and Aviation division. This is a pivotal role focused on delivering high-quality technical processing and documentation throughout the policy lifecycle, from pre-inception to post-placement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical support across all stages of the placement process, including pre-inception, post-placement, and renewal activities.

  • Process technical documentation such as evidence of cover, premium processing, bureaux submissions, and credit control.

  • Ensure accurate file and record management in line with company standards.

  • Liaise with underwriters and clients to support timely and accurate documentation, ensuring it meets client requirements and regulatory standards.

  • Support the wider broking and client service teams with general technical insurance tasks.

What We’re Looking For:

We’re seeking a proactive and detail-oriented individual with a strong background in technical insurance support, ideally within the London market.

Key Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar technical role within the (re)insurance sector.

  • Experience in the Marine (preferred) and/or Aviation insurance market.

  • Solid understanding of the London insurance market and placement processes.

  • Cert CII qualified (or equivalent experience).

  • Good working knowledge of FCA regulations.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Outlook, Word, and Excel.
