Marina Assistant Manager

A unique opportunity to join a leading marina operator as a Marina Assistant Manager in the beautiful coastal town of Poole! My client operates out of multiple marinas in the UK and abroad, providing premium berthing and boatyard services. They require a dedicated and passionate person to join their team who is focused on delivering superb customer service.

Main responsibilities of the Assistant Manager:
  1. Ensure the smooth day-to-day running of all marina operations; coordinate, allocate, and monitor the work and activities of the marina team.
  2. In conjunction with site teams, ensure that daily, weekly, and monthly checks are carried out as per deadlines, maintaining a safe, secure, clean, and well-landscaped environment.
  3. Oversee the Administration team to ensure all tasks are completed and the debt process is followed.
  4. Lead the team and support marina and boatyard administration to maintain accurate records, maximize revenue, and ensure payment for all services under company guidelines.
  5. Ensure the daily operation and overall image of the site reflect the company’s market leadership.
  6. Ensure compliance with all legal, HSE, and company policies, including financial policies.
  7. Build and develop an empowered, motivated team that provides excellent customer experience and site coverage.
Candidate requirements:
  1. Experience in the yachting industry or within a marina is preferred but not mandatory.
  2. Strong team leadership skills and a commitment to exceptional customer service.
  3. Experience with operational processes and health & safety management.
  4. Ability to handle customer feedback appropriately.
