Margining and Collateral, Senior Associate

Our Margining and Collateral team within the Market Operations Division is dedicated to managing all aspects of margining for OTC, Repo, Futures, Clearing, and Collateral Optimisation. We are a highly skilled team focused on ensuring the efficient and accurate processing of margin calls and collateral management. Our team is growing, and we are expanding our product coverage to support the dynamic needs of our investment bank.

While Macquarie offers hybrid working for many of our roles, this role does require 3 days a week in our advertised location.

What role will you play?

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring all margin calls are issued by required cut-offs on a daily basis. You will distribute all client reporting as per set schedules and respond to margin calls received in the group email box accurately and promptly. You will review and investigate margin call disputes, ensure all payments are processed daily according to currency deadlines, and raise portfolio and margin disputes to our credit officers. Additionally, you will manage the team’s daily collateral optimisation opportunities and investigate and resolve cash and non-cash collateral breaks. You will also collaborate with senior team members and our sales and trading desks on new initiatives.
