Job Purpose
Your role will be to develop a competency assessment and training approach at our manufacturing site in support of building a continuous improvement mindset and culture as well as workforce skill development at our Felling production site.

Job Responsibilities
• Develop & implement a comprehensive in-house training framework tailored to our manufacturing processes.
• Collaborate with colleagues to identify training needs to upskill operators & teams.
• Oversee the onboarding process for new hires.
• Design & facilitate delivery of training programmes.
• Collaborate with colleagues to identify apprenticeship opportunities to effectively make use of the levy.
• Enhance the skills of manufacturing, quality, engineering & warehousing teams through targeted initiatives.
• Collaborate with our national network to share & implement best practices.
• Monitor/evaluate the effectiveness of training programmes & enhance as needed.
• Provide regular reports to the leadership team on training progress and outcomes.

Job Requirements
• Experience of designing & facilitating training interventions.
• Experience of coaching and/or mentoring.
• Awareness of external benchmarking.
• Effective project management skills.
• Used to budget management.
