Job description

Tooling Mechanic to join a successful and longstanding aerospace manufacturing company.

Here is what you can expect to be doing:

Role Responsibilities:

  • Carry out servicing and repairs of mould tools within the toolroom, moulding, and production environment.
  • Work alongside the existing team to investigate and develop knowledge on all aspects of tool operation and servicing.
  • Provide reports on tool findings, conforming to standards.
  • Be a team player with IT communication and negotiation skills.
  • Maintain close liaison with engineering, quality, and production departments as necessary.
  • Demonstrate good time management to complete activities alongside production schedules.
  • Be self-motivated with a proven history of bringing activities to closure.
  • Use and understand design documentation and procedures relevant to the aerospace market.
  • Having a good grasp of mould toolings theories would be advantageous.

A few things about you:

  • Proven suitable experience within an engineering role.
  • Experience with machining processes linked to tool manufacture.
  • Experience in handling and servicing tools.
  • Experience in customer interface.

Working hours:

4-day week, Monday to Thursday, 07:15 am to 5:00 pm, totaling 37 hours weekly.

Overtime is available from Friday to Sunday at premium rates.
