Job Description

ILS are an established family run manufacturing firm based in North Yorkshire. We manufacture and install Fume Cupboards. The assembly and install process is similar to fitting furniture so don't worry if you've never heard of a fume cupboard before! We install these all over the UK so as part of the role will involve occasional nights away.

We're looking for one, potentially two new members of our team.

Experience with hand and power tools are mandatory

Roles:

• Assemble fume cupboards according to specifications and drawings
• Operate hand tools and power tools to complete assembly tasks
• Conduct quality control checks to ensure products meet standards
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the manufacturing process
• Maintain a clean and organised work area
• Follow all safety protocols and guidelines
• Working on clients sites installing equipment

Experience:

• Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment
• Proficiency with hand tools and power tools
• Strong mechanical knowledge and aptitude
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
