Job summary

Pioneer-Selection-Ltd in Wolverhampton is seeking a Manufacturing Technician to join a fast-paced plastics manufacturing operation. You will set up and optimise production equipment, carry out routine machine adjustments and support tooling changes to keep line productivity high and quality consistent.

Working closely with production and maintenance teams, you will help implement process improvements, minimise downtime and uphold health and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in plastics manufacturing environments.
• Experience setting and operating machinery in a production environment.
• Knowledge of plastic injection moulding, extrusion, or similar manufacturing processes.
• Identify production issues and implement effective solutions.
• Strong understanding of health and safety within a manufacturing environment.

Job Role of the Manufacturing Technician

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Manufacturing Technician to join a well‑established plastics manufacturing business in Wolverhampton. This role is part of a skilled production and engineering team responsible for ensuring manufacturing processes run efficiently while maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety, and productivity.

You will be responsible for setting up and optimising production equipment, carrying out routine machine adjustments, supporting tooling changes, assisting with process improvements, and ensuring machinery operates to maximum efficiency. Working closely with production and maintenance teams, you will play a key role in minimising downtime and maintaining product quality.
