Recruit4staff are representing a well-established manufacturing engineering business in search of a Manufacturing Technician to work in Liverpool. You'll set and operate advanced CNC turn/mill centres, with Mazak Integrex, producing components to exacting tolerances from stainless steels and super alloys. The role requires reading drawings, setting multi-axis machines, and performing quality checks with gauging and CMM in a high-precision environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working as a Manufacturing Technician or in a similar precision engineering role.
• Experience of twin turret machining.
• Strong knowledge of Mazatrol Smooth controls.
• Previous experience working with Mazak CNC machinery.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.

Responsibilities

• Set and operate multi-axis CNC machinery and turning/milling centres.
• Interpret and work from engineering drawings and specifications.
• Perform quality checks using hard gauging and CMM equipment.
• Ensure all components meet engineering standards and tolerances.

Recruit4staff are representing a well-established manufacturing engineering business in their search for a Manufacturing Technician to work in Liverpool

• Pay: Excellent Basic Salary
• Hours of Work: Day Shift 35.25 hours per week
  Week One Mon - Wed (05.55-17:40) (Working 11.75 hrs per day)
  Week Two Thu - Sat (05.55-17:40) (Working 11.75 hrs per day)
• Duration: Permanent

Job Role: The Manufacturing Technician will be responsible for setting and operating advanced CNC turn/mill machining centres within a precision engineering environment. The Manufacturing Technician will primarily work with Mazak Integrex machines, producing high-quality components from stainless steels and heat resistant super alloys to extremely fine tolerances. Duties for the Manufacturing Technician include setting multi-axis CNC machinery, interpreting technical drawings, performing quality checks using hard gauging and CMM equipment, and ensuring all components meet strict engineering standards.

Essential Skills, Experience, or Qualifications:

• Previous experience working as a Manufacturing Technician or in a similar precision engineering role
• Experience of twin turret machining
• Strong knowledge of Mazatrol Smooth controls
• Previous experience working with Mazak CNC machinery
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings

Advantageous Skills, Experience, or Qualifications

• NVQ / City & Guilds qualification or equivalent in a relevant mechanical engineering discipline, preferably within manufacturing engineering
• Previous experience working with a Mazak Integrex machine
• Ability to programme CNC machines
