Teledyne Microwave UK (Lincoln) is hiring a Manufacturing Technician to assemble, test and repair high-reliability RF and electronic products used in specialist microwave radar applications. You will work within a skilled team, following strict build instructions and documentation while contributing to continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • Experience in electronic or electromechanical assembly in a manufacturing environment.

  • Experience using hand tools and soldering techniques, with an understanding of ESD requirements.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, build instructions, and test procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Assembly & Test - assemble and test RF and electronic products using a range of techniques, including mechanical assembly, epoxy processes, PCB soldering, and RF assembly, in line with defined build documentation.
  • Production Data & Documentation - accurately complete production records, build documentation, and test results.
  • Fault Finding & Repair - support fault finding and repair activities for production issues and customer returns within agreed timescales.
  • Health, Safety & Compliance - adhere to Health, Safety, and Environmental requirements, including ESD controls and COSHH regulations.
  • Delivery & Performance - meet or exceed production targets while maintaining high quality standards.
  • Continuous Improvement - contribute to 5S, visual management, and process improvements.

The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering high-quality output while contributing ideas and improvements to the wider team.Key responsibilities of the role will include:Assembly & Test - assemble and test RF and electronic products using a range of techniques, including mechanical assembly, epoxy processes, PCB soldering, and RF assembly, in line with defined build documentation. Follow detailed work instructions and test procedures to ensure consistent product quality.Production Data & Documentation - accurately complete production records, build documentation, and test results. Raise issues and support updates to documentation to ensure it remains current and reflects best practiceFault Finding & Repair - support fault finding and repair activities for production issues and customer returns within agreed timescales. Work with Engineering teams to feedback recurring issues and support long-term improvements.Health, Safety & Compliance - work in line with all Health, Safety, and Environmental requirements, including ESD controls and COSHH regulations. Actively support and promote a safe and compliant working environment.Delivery & Performance - work to meet or exceed agreed production targets while maintaining high quality standards. Support business needs through flexible working where required.Continuous Improvement - contribute to continuous improvement activities, including 5S, visual management, and process improvements.
