Job summary

MET Recruitment UK LTD is helping a growing manufacturing client in the United Kingdom fill a Production Technician role to join their busy and expanding production team. This newly created position supports coating and inspection tasks to maintain quality across panels.

You will operate a semi-automated coating machine to apply solder resist ink and run an inkjet machine to apply legend print, while ensuring a clean, safe workspace and adhering to production schedules.

Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing or production experience would be advantageous.
• Excellent attention to detail and quality standards.
• Ability to follow written instructions and production processes.
• Good level of manual dexterity and practical skills.

Key Responsibilities

As a Production Technician, your duties will include:

• Operating a semi-automated coating machine to apply solder resist ink to panels.
• Developing and inspecting panels following the exposure process.
• Identifying and reporting any quality issues during inspection.
• Operating a semi-automated inkjet machine to apply legend print to panels.
• Ensuring products meet quality standards and customer specifications.
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised work area.
• Following production schedules and company procedures.
