Overview

Talent STEM is supporting a well-established organisation in Kent to recruit a Manufacturing Technician. This is a permanent, full-time role offering the opportunity to work in a modern, regulated manufacturing environment, supporting the production of high-quality products across a technical sector.


Key Responsibilities


  • Carry out daily manufacturing activities within a controlled production environment

  • Operate, monitor, and maintain process equipment in line with SOPs

  • Complete accurate production records, ensuring compliance with documentation standards

  • Report and support resolution of process deviations and equipment issues

  • Assist with planned maintenance, troubleshooting, and improvement projects

  • Work closely with quality teams to maintain operational standards

  • Manage incoming materials and maintain stock levels

  • Maintain a safe, clean, and compliant working environment

  • Contribute to initiatives to improve efficiency, quality, and productivity


Experience, Skills & Qualifications

Essential:



  • Strong attention to detail with excellent record-keeping skills

  • Ability to follow structured processes in a regulated environment

  • Physically capable of lifting and handling materials

  • Flexibility to work a shift rota (including weekends)


Desirable:



  • Previous experience in manufacturing, production or technical operations

  • Familiarity with quality or compliance standards (ISO, GMP, or similar)
