Job Title: Manufacturing Technician

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled Manufacturing Technician to join a world-leading defense company known for its innovative and advanced technology solutions. This organisation is at the forefront of designing and manufacturing sophisticated missile systems and defense technologies that protect nations and their armed forces.

Location & Work Schedule: 5 days per week on-site due to workload classification.

Nationality Requirement: British Citizen or a Dual UK national with British citizenship.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Certify products in line with product certification procedures.
  2. Maintain product certification and approval through regular audits.
  3. Apply a versatile skill set across a variety of tasks.
  4. Operate all equipment, tools, and measuring implements associated with the manufacturing cycle.
  5. Ensure manufacturing build, inspection, and test times are met.
  6. Complete all paperwork associated with the manufacturing data pack accurately.
  7. Uphold the highest standards of workmanship and product quality.
  8. Comply with all procedures related to the manufacturing process.
  9. Maintain a safe working environment and adhere to good housekeeping policies.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Formal technical engineering/craft apprenticeship to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent academic qualifications.
  • Proven ability to certify products and apply a wide range of skills using various tools and instruments.
