Job Description Summary

Become part of a winning team and help to deliver the Green Energy transition.

In this position, you will manufacture electro-mechanical products to meet production plans, ensuring assembly, inspection, and testing are carried out using Lean methodology.

You will work to specifications and instructions, using the correct tools, methods, and equipment, meeting the standards expected by the customer.

Shift Pattern: Dayshift and/or Twilight as required by the business.

Flexible Start Times

Monday - Thursday: earliest start 6:45am / 8:00am, earliest end 3:15pm / 4:30pm
Friday: earliest start 6:45am / 8:00am, earliest end 11:45am – 1:00pm

Job Responsibilities
  1. Environment / Health / Safety: Ensure compliance with EHS procedures, prioritizing safety for yourself and colleagues.
  2. Product Delivery: Build, test, and repair products according to the manufacturing plan.
  3. Product Quality: Maintain build quality in line with SOPs; may assist in training others.
  4. Product Cost: Manufacture efficiently, respecting processes.
  5. Continuous Improvement: Implement process improvements, propose ideas via Employee Ideas Scheme.
  6. Support KPIs: Focus on productivity, efficiency, on-time delivery, and first-time pass rate.
  7. Maintenance: Follow routine maintenance, participate in 5S audits, report issues.
  8. General Duties: Support other duties as required, be adaptable, uphold GE beliefs.

  • Hours: 37 per week
  • Work Shift: Dayshift and/or Twilight
  • Start Times: Monday-Thursday 6:45am/8:00am; Friday 6:45am/8:00am, End times vary
