What You'll Do

The Manufacturing Team Manager will be responsible for overseeing and leading all activities associated with manufacturing and production of deliverable products to meet customer expectations within a defined production area. This role involves monitoring and managing both hourly and salaried resources, assigning responsibilities, and developing team members. Additionally, the manager will focus on continuous improvement in production, quality, and safety, utilizing the Eaton Business System (EBS) and the Continuous Improvement Framework (CIF).

Job Responsibilities

  • Driving continuous improvement through EBS, BOS, CIF, and HPWTs.
  • Implementing Lean activities to eliminate waste in key processes.
  • Achieving key BOS metrics such as TRCR, Productive Utilization, On-Time Delivery, First Pass Yield, and DPPM.
  • Managing plant assets through leadership of maintenance and facilities resources.
  • Implementing MESH to improve safety performance year over year.
  • Developing and coaching team members, providing oversight and recognition.
  • Providing vision and strategy, leading by example, and actively engaging employees.
  • Empowering employees to drive decision-making throughout the organization.
  • Managing High-5 metrics for the assigned value stream.
  • Fostering employee engagement.

Qualifications

Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Manufacturing/Operations.

Skills

  • 1-3 years of experience leading teams.
  • Proficiency in Excel, MS Outlook, PowerPoint.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, leadership, coaching, and influence skills.
  • Expertise in Lean manufacturing and Operational Excellence, including 6S, Value Stream Mapping, Standard Work, Visual Management.
  • Problem-solving skills (e.g., 8-D or A3).
  • Highly motivated, visionary, adaptable to change.
