What You'll Do

The Manufacturing Team Manager will be responsible for overseeing and leading all activities associated with manufacturing and production of deliverable products to meet customer expectations within a defined production area. This role involves monitoring and managing both hourly and salaried resources, assigning work responsibilities, and developing and aligning resources to load. Additionally, this leader will focus on continuous improvement in production, quality, and safety, utilizing the Eaton Business System (EBS) and the Continuous Improvement Framework (CIF).


Job Responsibilities
  1. Driving continuous improvement and application through EBS, BOS, CIF, and HPWTs.
  2. Implementing Lean activities to eliminate waste opportunities in key processes.
  3. Achieving key BOS metrics including TRCR, Productive Utilization, On-Time Delivery, First Pass Yield, and DPPM.
  4. Managing plant assets effectively through leadership of maintenance and facilities resources.
  5. Implementing MESH initiatives to improve safety performance year over year.
  6. Developing and coaching team members, providing oversight and recognition.
  7. Providing vision and strategy, leading by example, and actively engaging employees.
  8. Removing barriers and enabling employee success, including driving decision-making down through the organization.
  9. Managing High-5 metrics for the assigned value stream.
  10. Fostering employee engagement.
Qualifications

Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Manufacturing/Operations.

Skills

Minimum 1-3 years of experience leading others. Strong computer skills (Excel, MS Outlook, PowerPoint). Excellent communication, interpersonal, leadership, coaching, and influence management skills. Proficiency in Lean manufacturing and Operational Excellence tools such as 6S, Value Stream Mapping, Standard Work, Visual Management, and process focus. Strong problem-solving skills (e.g., 8-D or A3). Highly motivated, visionary, and adaptable to change.
