Job description

Job Title: Manufacturing Team Leader

Location: Broad Oak - Onsite only

Salary: Up to £47,000 (dependent on skills and experience)

What you'll be doing:

  1. Facilitate daily communication with the team to ensure alignment and clarity
  2. Empower team members to effectively perform their duties
  3. Ensure timely and accurate updates of timesheets in the Workforce Management (WFM) system
  4. Coordinate regular meetings with project and production control teams
  5. Oversee the implementation and adherence to health and safety procedures, ensuring they remain current
  6. Maintain up-to-date visual management systems to reflect project status
  7. Monitor and drive the progression of ongoing projects to ensure timely completion

Your skills and experiences:

Essential:

  1. Strong ability to work effectively within a team, contributing to collective goals and fostering a cooperative and supportive work environment
  2. Proficient in conveying information clearly and effectively, fostering open dialogue within teams and with stakeholders
  3. Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate teams, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and driving performance

Desirable:

  1. Suitable qualification in leadership and management dependent on experience

The Assembly & Test team:

The role involves managing a skilled workforce to produce high-quality products, some of which are subject to tight deadlines. You will collaborate closely with engineering and project teams to ensure on-time delivery of products that meet the highest standards. A key aspect of the role is understanding processes from production control, fostering strong relationships with the wider team, and ensuring effective communication across departments. You will also support other team leaders and their staff to collectively achieve delivery targets.
