Job Opportunity: Team Leader

Baker Recruitment Group is pleased to be working alongside our client based in LS12. Due to continued growth, we are recruiting a Team Leader to join this busy operation.

Shifts

• Monday to Friday
• 06.15am - 4.15pm
• 4.15pm - 02.15am

Salary

£30,000 per annum

Role Overview

Reporting to the Shift Manager, the Team Leader will manage teams of Production Operators, ensuring department targets related to manufacturing, quality assurance, and performance are met. The role involves supervising adherence to health, safety, and environmental protocols, implementing housekeeping and safe working practices, and providing guidance to team members.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate materials and allocate work effectively
• Develop training plans based on team members' strengths and weaknesses
• Ensure effective training and development of team members
• Assist in problem-solving and conflict resolution
• Maintain compliance with ISO9001 Quality standards and ISO14001 Environmental standards
• Ensure product quality is upheld
• Act as a stand-in Shift Manager during holidays and sickness
