Job Description:

Senior Manufacturing Systems / Software Engineer

Opportunity to join a market leading technology manufacturing business and play a key role delivering NPI projects to volume production. Heading up a small team you will take responsibility for ensuring all production machinery is configured and programmed to deliver volume production in line with quality, safety and performance expectations.

What you’ll be doing:

• Manage and co-ordinate manufacturing software and systems and small team of engineers / technicians
• Liaise with key internal and external stakeholders
• Manage NPI activities for manufacturing equipment software and systems
• Ensure documentation and traceability standards are maintained
• Manage and schedule software and system updates for manufacturing equipment
• Integrate new manufacturing equipment into software & systems dept

Experience you’ll have

• Manufacturing machinery software systems management and programming within a highly automated environment with machines and software such as Panasert, DEK, Fuji, Aegis, Factorylogix, CircuitCAM, SIplace
• Extensive experience setting up and optimising manufacturing machinery systems / software and automation for NPI projects
• CAD and Gerber file experience
• Successful implementation of continuous improvement projects
• Team management
