Salary: £40,000 – £43,000 per annum + excellent benefits

We’re supporting a leading engineering and manufacturing business near Uxbridge with their search for a Manufacturing Support Technician. This role is vital in helping minimise production delays, supporting local leaders on the shop floor, and ensuring work progresses safely and efficiently.

What you’ll be doing
  • Diagnosing issues that cause production stops and deciding on quick fixes or deeper investigation
  • Carrying out minor reworks within your skillset
  • Liaising with engineering, quality control, and production teams to keep operations flowing
  • Checking stock, raising repicks, and ensuring tooling is in place at the right time
  • Supporting production planning tasks including splitting cards, raising new orders, and releasing jobs
  • Raising quality notifications and contributing to improvement projects
  • Assisting multiple departments to resolve problems quickly and reduce downtime
About you
  • Hands-on experience within manufacturing or assembly environments
  • Practical problem-solving skills and a proactive approach
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work across departments
  • Calm under pressure with good organisational ability
  • Self-motivated team player with the confidence to work independently when needed
  • Knowledge of SAP would be an advantage (training provided if not)
