Job description

Proactive Personnel Ltd are currently recruiting for a Manufacturing Supervisor to join our clients team based in the TF3 area of Telford.

This is a varied role where the successful individual will be given training, mentoring and support to develop their career in manufacturing management / supervision.

You will be required to maximise productivity of the manufacturing team by providing leadership and daily motivation to the team. Through a number of visuals, you will provide daily briefs on production targets and problem solve efficiently.

Duties Will Include, But Are Not Limited Too

  • Daily hands-on management and motivation for your team.
  • To take ownership of given projects/tasks
  • Plan work for various projects on a daily basis and provide guidance and direction
  • Report to the Manufacturing Manager on project progress
  • Adopt a culture of continuous improvement
  • Be responsible for Health and Safety
  • Involvement in personnel management including mentoring
  • Responsibility for your teams performanceand disciplinaries where appropriate.

Ideally, the successful candidate will have at least 3 years experience in supervision or responsibility in a similar role, and be educated to HNC in a similar field.

Hours of work are 40 hours per week - 07:45 - 16:30 Monday - Friday.

£37,500 - £39,000 per annum (to achieve the higher rate you must be able to demonstrate experience and competence in a previous similar role).

An immediate start is available and this is a straight permanent role directly with the client.
