My client is a large, well-established components manufacturer based on the outskirts of Edinburgh, seeking to appoint a Site Director as part of their ongoing succession planning. The business is embarking on a significant growth phase.

Job Summary:

The Site Director / General Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations of the site, ensuring all departments work efficiently to meet company goals. This role involves managing production, sales, quality, and finance to ensure the smooth running of the site.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Leadership and Management: Provide strong leadership and direction to all site departments, focusing on production while managing sales, quality, and finance. Ensure team alignment with company objectives.
2. Operational Efficiency: Oversee daily operations, ensuring processes run smoothly. Implement best practices to enhance productivity and efficiency.
