Job summary

Piramal Pharma Solutions is seeking a Manufacturing Shift Team Leader to ensure GMP-compliant execution of the manufacturing process within the suite, planning resources, safeguarding staff safety, and coordinating with Q&V, QC and QA to release products on schedule.

You will lead a team of direct reports, manage performance and training, drive improvements in cost, time and quality, and ensure all health, safety and regulatory requirements are met while delivering manufacturing output.

Qualifications

• Experience leading manufacturing teams in a GMP environment.
• Strong knowledge of health and safety, quality and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead their team of direct reports and manage staff performance.
• Plan resources and schedule manufacturing output.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety, Quality and Regulatory requirements.
• Drive continuous improvement to reduce cost/time and improve quality.
• Review batch documentation and provide insights.
• Coordinate with Q&V, QC and QA to enable product release.
• Define training and competency programs for future needs.
• Deliver manufacturing output to schedule.

Manufacturing Shift Team Leader

Job Description

The Shift Team Leader is responsible for ensuring the successful execution of the manufacturing process within the manufacturing suite. This includes but is not limited to planning the appropriate resource for the manufacturing process, health and safety of staff, people development and training, quality of product and managing the inter-relationships between Q&V, QC and QA. The aim of this role is to ensure that products are manufactured to schedule in a GMP compliant manner and also to aid the release of those manufactured products.

• Lead their team of direct reports
• Management of staff including direction, performance management and feedback, motivation and training
• Effectively communicate within area of responsibility and across Business Partners and Service Providers
• Goal Setting, prioritisation, planning, resourcing and review of process performance metrics.
• Maintain Manufacturing quality and Product Performance to agreed product performance standards
• Lead deviation investigations ensuring that they a closed in a timely manner.
• Review draft batch documentation and provide useful insight
• Compliance to all Health & Safety, Quality and Regulatory requirements.
• Continuously improve manufacturing operations to deliver gains in either a reduction in cost and time or increase in quality.
• Define appropriate Training programmes to ensure competency to future business needs
