Job summary

Yeo Valley Production Ltd is seeking a hands-on shift leader for a 4-on, 4-off permanent day shift (06:00–18:00) to drive safe, stable operations across a busy dairy site.

You will lead in a high-risk, high-velocity FMCG environment, embedding standards, and ensuring effective handovers, ownership, and continuous improvement across the team.

The role offers development of leadership capability while supporting site performance and maintaining quality and asset protection at scale.

Qualifications

• Essential: Short Shelf life/high risk / Dairy category experience preferred.
• Essential: Proven experience of lean/root cause in complex FMCG organisations.
• Essential: HACCP level 2.
• Essential: Food safety level 3.

So, what will I be doing?

This role plays a critical part in maintaining 24/7 operational performance, embedding standards, and providing strong leadership, visibility, and decision-making outside of normal day-shift support. The role is full time permanent offering an opportunity to develop leadership capability while supporting site performance and stability.

You will work a 4 on 4 off permanent day shift pattern, beginning work at 0600 and finishing at 1800.
