Job Description

I'm working with a global animal health leader who is looking for a Senior Associate – Technical Services / Manufacturing Science (TSMS) to join their team in Speke, United Kingdom.

This is a key technical role supporting external manufacturing operations across international markets. The successful candidate will provide expertise in packaging processes and materials, ensure compliance with global standards, and lead or support initiatives such as product launches, tech transfers, and continuous improvement projects. You’ll act as the primary technical contact for contract manufacturers, ensuring product quality, process capability, and regulatory compliance.

The Ideal Candidate Would Have:

  • An advanced degree or equivalent experience in life sciences or engineering (e.g. pharmacy, chemistry, packaging engineering)
  • At least 5 years of experience in pharmaceutical or chemical production, technical services, or packaging
  • Strong knowledge of GMP, regulatory requirements, and quality systems
  • Proven experience in technical transfer, process validation, and project management
  • Excellent communication and technical writing skills
  • Fluency in English and another European
  • Flexibility to travel (10–30%) to support manufacturing partners
