Overview: Leonardo seeks an experienced Manufacturing Project Manager to develop a new production area for our Communication Systems team, focusing on Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities: Define production methods, develop manufacturing plans, manage resources, and oversee production engineering, planning, and continuous improvement efforts.

Requirements:

  • Experience with manufacturing systems, capacity planning, factory layout, WIP & inventory optimization, problem solving, forecasting, and reporting.
  • Ability to lead operational excellence and continuous improvement teams.
  • Defense sector experience.
  • Experience with MRP systems, preferably SAP.
