The Role

Key Responsibilities

  • Create and manage Bills of Materials (BoMs) for new and existing products
  • Maintain part numbers, revision control, and documentation within PLM/ERP systems
  • Coordinate product change control and configuration management
  • Work with engineering to ensure designs are production-ready
  • Support the ramp-up of new products from trials to formal release
  • Help define and improve processes for production data handover.

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment, ideally electronics related
  • Solid understanding of product lifecycle, change control, and configuration management
  • Highly organised, detail-oriented, and structured in your approach
  • Good communicator – able to work across disciplines and levels
  • Comfortable working in a small, fast-paced, growing business
  • Practical, delivery-focused mindset with a willingness to roll up your sleeves
  • Previous experience of ISO9001 or quality-controlled production environments.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with ERP or PLM systems (e.g. Sage, SolidWorks PDM)
  • Background in power electronics or semiconductor assembly.

Why Join RAM?

  • Be part of a UK-based team developing genuinely world-class tech
  • Work on real hardware with real impact
  • Flat structure, high visibility, and a say in how things are done
  • We value people who take initiative, finish what they start, and do things properly.
