Manufacturing Project Coordinator

Full Time, 37.5 hours per week (Monday to Friday 9am-5pm)
Up to £30,000 pa

We’re on the lookout for a confident and organised Project Coordinator to support installation and decommissioning projects. Reporting to the Project Manager, you’ll be the go-to person for tracking project progress, coordinating information, and keeping everyone from site teams to clients in the loop.

As Project Coordinator, you’ll manage the full project lifecycle, from the initial enquiry stage through to build and final invoicing. You’ll be responsible for keeping project records up to date, sharing key details with stakeholders, and supporting smooth day-to-day operations.

What you’ll be doing as a Project Coordinator:
  • Inputting new client enquiries into our CRM system and updating project status as it progresses
  • Monitoring each stage of the project from quote through to completion and keeping systems accurate
  • Sharing updates with internal teams so everyone has the latest commercial and operational information
  • Gathering costs and scopes of work from the steel workshop and subcontractors
  • Raising and issuing purchase orders to suppliers
  • Preparing Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS) for all sites, the technical content will be provided by others
  • Taking part in internal planning meetings to review upcoming works
  • Making sure site operatives have all the paperwork they need via our project management tool

We’re looking for a Project Coordinator who has:
  • Previous experience in a similar Project Coordinator or Project Support role, ideally within a manufacturing environment
  • Experience using CRM systems to manage project data
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft programs including SharePoint and Excel
  • The ability to communicate clearly and professionally with all types of stakeholders
  • A proactive approach, with brilliant attention to detail
