Permanent Job

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Production Planner from a manufacturing background (absolutely NOT food as its completely different ) to join a busy engineering company based in Rugby.

Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:45 - 17:00Salary: £35,000 - £40000Location: Rugby (must live locally)

This is a great opportunity to join a small, close-knit team in a busy and fast-paced environment. The role will suit someone who is organised, proactive and easy to get along with.

Key Responsibilities

  • Creating and managing production schedules to meet customer demands and deadlines
  • Coordinating with various departments to ensure smooth workflow across production
  • Managing materials, lead times, and resources
  • Using SAP for planning, tracking and reporting purposes
  • Problem-solving and adjusting schedules where necessary to maintain efficiency

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a Production Planner role with a non-food manufacturing company is essential
  • Strong SAP skills and confident using planning systems
  • Highly organised, detail-oriented and able to multitask
  • A team player with a positive attitude and good communication skills
  • Must be based in or very close to Rugby
