An established engineering firm in the United Kingdom seeks a Manufacturing / Production Engineer to enhance their team. Key responsibilities include designing fixtures, creating documentation using Solidworks and AutoCAD, driving process improvements, and delivering training to operators. Ideal candidates will have a strong background in engineering with HND or degree qualifications. This role offers a structured work schedule from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, Monday to Thursday, and until 4 pm Friday.
My client is a well-established engineering business with a long history and exciting plans for business growth. They are a well know international business who specialise in manufacture of bespoke systems for the O&G sectors.
They are looking to strengthen their team and appoint a Manufacturing / Production Engineer based at their site near Malton.
The successful candidate will be expected to work in collaboration with Operations and Engineering relating to all new and existing products. Providing process and manufacturing engineering expertise into new and existing customer parts and processing/manufacturing methods, ensuring smooth transition to full manufacture.
Candidates will have a demonstrable background in a similar role, involved in process improvement with a knowledge of various manufacturing processes such as Machining, Fabrication and assembly (mechanical and electrical).
Candidates will also ideally be minimum HND qualified in an Engineering capacity.
Hours - 8.30am to 4.30pm Mon-Thurs and 8.30am to 4pm Friday.
