Job description

Job Title: Assembly Operative.

Several permanent positions as part of a team building various environmental enclosures have arisen at our busy facilities based in Kitts Green, Birmingham. B33

Location: Birmingham, B33

Job Type: Full time, Permanent

Contracted Hours: Monday – Friday 8AM – 4PM, 37.5hrs per week. Working overtime as and when required.

Salary: Initial £11.65 per hour. Hourly rate will increase after the trial period and training, depending on the skills learned and developed. Overtime rate will be at a time and a half, or double time, of the basic hourly rate.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Mechanical assembly of our environmental security enclosure product range, with extensive use of a variety of hand/power tools.
  • Electrical assembly and wiring of products.
  • Electrical testing of product range.
  • Ability to interpret works orders and accurately complete details of product builds.
  • Ensuring production priorities are achieved. Some lifting required.
  • Adherence to health & safety rules, good working practices, quality standards, and company procedures.
