Job summary

Michael Page is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer for a Deeside site to drive process improvements across CNC machining, welding, electropolishing and inspection operations. The role focuses on productivity, quality and cost efficiency in a highly regulated setting.

You will work with engineering, production and planning teams to standardise methods, implement SOPs and support new product introductions, with emphasis on Lean, CI, and root-cause analysis to reduce defects and improve OEE.

Qualifications

• HNC/HND or Degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or similar.
• Lean Manufacturing or Continuous Improvement qualification desirable.
• IOSH Managing Safely desirable.
• Six Sigma Green Belt desirable.

Responsibilities

• Analyse, develop, improve and maintain manufacturing processes across CNC Machining, Welding, Electropolishing, and Inspection operations.
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase productivity, quality, efficiency, throughput and performance.
• Standardise manufacturing methods, best practices, process flow maps, work instructions and SOPs.
• Support introduction of new products, processes, equipment, technologies, automation and manufacturing investment projects.
• Lead continuous improvement projects using Lean Manufacturing principles.
