Our client is a well-established and growing metal processor supplying a wide range of markets. They are seeking an enthusiastic Manufacturing Process Engineer to join their team.
- Developing and managing process sheets for new product introduction processes
- Carrying out design and validation for tooling
- Evaluating processes and seeking opportunities for improvements
- Assisting the commissioning of new machinery
- Carrying out robot and PLC programming using Beckhoff, Delta, and Siemens systems
- Proficient with 3D CAD software such as Inventor or SolidWorks
- Knowledge of metal processing such as CNC or manual milling or turning
- Experience with PLC programming is desirable
- Based in a commutable distance of Newbury
- An understanding of additive manufacturing / 3D printing is desirable
- Salary £30,000 - £35,000 depending on experience
- Monday to Thursday 08:00 - 16:30, Friday 08:00 - 14:00. 38-hour working week.
