Role Overview:

The Planning Manager will be responsible for managing and leading the Planning Team, developing customized planning guideline schedules for new projects, and creating and updating project plans to align with budget and timescale milestones. This role requires continuous monitoring of project progress, reporting issues to key stakeholders, and driving improvements in efficiency and scheduling. Additionally, the Planning Manager will support ERP developments and provide relevant reports on key project dates, resource planning, production targets, and capacity utilization.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Lead and manage the Planning Team
  2. Develop and customize planning guideline schedules for new projects
  3. Create and update project plans to align with budget and timescale milestones
  4. Monitor project progress and report issues to key stakeholders
  5. Drive efficiency improvements in production phases
  6. Support ERP developments
  7. Provide relevant reports on key project dates, resource planning, production targets, and capacity utilization
Skills and Experience Required:
  • Excellent analytical skills for data gathering, organization, and analysis
  • Strong knowledge of planning resources and materials
  • Proficient in AX/database systems
  • Excellent command of English and communication skills with internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to work within a multicultural environment
  • Well-organized with strong attention to detail
  • Full suite of Microsoft Office, MS Project or relevant scheduling software (Primavera P6 is an advantage), ERP AX is a plus, SAP or any other equivalent ERP system
Qualifications:
  • Ideally, Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or equivalent
  • 7+ years of relevant experience within MANUFACTURING
