Job summary

Nestlé is offering a 12-month Manufacturing Industrial Placement Scheme in the UK. You will be immersed in daily factory operations, supporting production lines and collaborating with cross-functional teams to tackle challenges and implement innovative solutions.

You will engage in problem-solving sessions, receive mentorship from experienced professionals, and rotate through different roles across sites to build practical skills for a future career in manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Penultimate year of study in Food Science, Manufacturing or related degree such as Chemical Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering.
• Must be mobile across the UK and have commitment to the scheme and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Support a range of projects delivering results for factory operations.
• Work with cross-functional teams to tackle challenges and implement solutions.
• Engage in problem-solving sessions and analyse issues to propose actionable strategies.
• Learn manufacturing processes and TPM/continuous improvement practices.
• Rotate through different manufacturing roles and develop leadership and teamwork skills.
