Job summary

Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing or production experience is advantageous.
• No formal qualifications required, but a nationally recognised manufacturing qualification (Level 1/2) would be beneficial.
• Forklift licences are desirable; candidates will be expected to achieve these within twelve months of commencement.
• Good computer literacy, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Experience of working safely within a manufacturing environment would be beneficial.
• Ability to understand and complete production documentation accurately.

Responsibilities

• Assess risks and apply appropriate control measures.
• Prepare raw materials and components for production.
• Verify raw material approval and shelf-life status before use.
• Accurately weigh and dispense raw materials.
• Follow manufacturing procedures and work instructions.
• Complete production and quality records accurately.
• Load raw materials into production equipment.
• Operate production machinery safely and efficiently.
• Monitor processes and report any issues or deviations.
• Label, pack, and prepare finished products for dispatch.
• Store raw materials and finished goods correctly.
• Operate forklifts and lifting equipment where authorised.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work area.
• Report production, quality, safety, or maintenance concerns.
• Comply with all EHS, quality, and site procedures.
• Work flexibly to meet operational requirement
