Job summary

Quaker Houghton is seeking a Fluidcare Technician to join our manufacturing support team. You will help deliver day-to-day maintenance in a live production environment, run fluid analysis testing, and ensure systems operate to the contracted scope.

No prior experience is essential; full training will be provided. The role rewards quick learners with pathways to specialist fluidcare expertise, ongoing on-the-job learning, and opportunities to develop in a global industrial fluids business.

Qualifications

• Good communication skills required.
• Preference for knowledge of engineering environment; training provided.
• Experience preferred but not essential; training offered.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day maintenance activities in a live manufacturing environment to deliver first-class service.
• Complete fluid analysis testing and general maintenance of products housed within systems.
• Weekly reporting and upkeep of EHS documentation; visual assessment of mechanical equipment and daily testing of systems.

Tasks

• Support the day-to-day maintenance activities working in a live manufacturing environment, to deliver a first-class service to an agreed contracted scope of work.
• Complete fluid analysis testing and general maintenance of the products housed within systems.
• Weekly reporting and the upkeep of EHS documentation on a frequent basis, visual assessment of all mechanical equipment such as the testing of MWF and ensuring the systems are checked daily etc.

Requirements

• Good Communication Skills
• Preferably has knowledge of working in an Engineering environment.
• Forklift advantageous
