Baker Hughes is hiring a Manufacturing Operator in the United Kingdom. You will operate production equipment, monitor line performance, and perform quality checks to ensure products meet exacting standards.

You will gain hands-on experience with modern manufacturing technologies, contribute to safe and efficient production, and participate in continuous improvements. The role follows a continental 12‑hour shift pattern, days and nights, across a two‑week cycle.

As a Manufacturing Operator, you will play a vital role in supporting manufacturing operations by operating production equipment, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring products are manufactured safely and efficiently. You will work closely with experienced team members while developing skills across multiple manufacturing processes and technologies.

As a Manufacturing Operator, you will be responsible for:

• Setting up, operating, monitoring, and adjusting manufacturing equipment to meet production requirements.

• Hold a secondary school qualification or equivalent.
• Have experience working within a manufacturing, production, or industrial environment.
• Be able to follow written work instructions, procedures, and standard operating practices.
• Demonstrate good mechanical aptitude and confidence using hand tools and measuring equipment.
• Possess basic mathematical skills and the ability to perform routine calculations.
• Demonstrate a strong commitment to health, safety, and quality standards.
• Be flexible and willing to work a continental 12-hour shift pattern, including days and nights.
• Have a positive attitude and a willingness to learn new equipment, processes, and technical skills through training and development.

Shift Pattern:

• Days: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM
• Nights: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
• Rotating continental shift pattern consisting of days, rest days, and nights across a two-week cycle
